This circular bench with a design look is made of Nabasco biocomposite and stainless steel.
The Circsit is one of the two winners of the Upcycle City competition of Municipality Almere and is made with the biobased residual material reed from Almere and surroundings. Objective of the Upcycle City competition was described as follows: 'Almere puts its residual streams on offer! Maintenance and management of the city generate residual flows, such as biomass, asphalt, concrete and street furniture. Almere is looking for solutions on the way to a circular city without waste. We want to work with companies with smart ideas to create value from the city's residual streams and make new products.' The Circsit fits seamlessly into this ambitious goal of the municipality of Almere.
