Biocomposite facade for gas receiving station

NPSP and Studio Marco Vermeulen made a biocomposite facade for a gas receiving station, with letters in relief.

The assignment was: develop a facade panel as environmentally friendly as is technically possible. The panel depicts the chemical composition of natural gas in the correct proportions of hydrogen, carbon and nitrogen. Eighty natural fibre bio-resin panels made of biocomposite Nabasco 5010 Base cover the station like a giant box of chocolate letters.
