The urgency and sweat were palpable: Climate Marathon 2026

Together you make an impact! Part of the team from @NPSP and @Nabasco participated in the Climate Marathon from Triodos sustainable bank headquarters to KNMI, Royal Netherlands Meteorological Institute, headquarters. On a day when the sparrows were falling off the roofs, a harrowing day on which the goal of the Climate Marathon was overtaken by the sad reality of extreme heat!

With the Climate Marathon, we raise money every year for a climate project that makes a real difference. In 2026, we are running for Trees for All. With every kilometer, you contribute to nature restoration and slowing down climate change. In this way, your effort becomes a direct investment in a livable future. The Climate Marathon is therefore more than a sporting event. It is a metaphor for the climate crisis: a long, collective effort is needed to achieve real change. The longer we wait, the harder we have to work.

What can you do?

By using our facades, you too can achieve a lower CO2 footprint! Conventional facade materials emit several tens of kg of CO2 per m² to be built. Our facades store more CO2 for an extended period than is emitted to produce them.
