Corporate Social Responsibility

Corporate Social Responsibility Sustainability is second nature to NPSP. Our first priority is to make the primary process more sustainable as this is where our impact is greatest. However, we do more:
Labour participation
It is NPSP policy to provide job opportunities for people whose personal circumstances make it difficult for them to find work elsewhere, such as dropouts, the over 50s and those reintegrating into the workforce.
The Children's University
NPSP collaborates with the Children’s University in Haarlem, the initiative of a local volunteer centre. 10 to 14 year olds come to the NPSP factory to discover the possibilities of technology and are challenged to develop their own strengths.

Bicycle plan, waste collection and green energy
NPSP uses green energy from Green Choice. We offer employees lease bicycles and our waste is sorted separately to maximise recycling.
CSR Netherlands
CSR Netherlands (MVO Nederland) is a Dutch knowledge and network organisation that stimulates the business community to engage in sustainable business. CSR Netherlands helps entrepreneurs to use the opportunities they offer; opportunities that will benefit their company, the environment and society as a whole. NPSP Composites has been a member of CSR Netherlands since 2005
PRIMA Enterprise Award
In 2005, NPSP won the first silver PRIMA Enterprise Award. This biennial prize recognises innovative and sustainable entrepreneurship. The award is an initiative of the NRK, the Dutch Plastics and Rubber Federation (Federatie Nederlandse Kunststof en Rubberindustrie) and is sponsored by ABN AMRO and Berenschot. During the assessment, entrants are judged on their business strategy and management. The judges also look at products, staff, and the company’s internal organisation.
NPSP Composites supports the project Puik Hergebruik Spaarnelanden
This initiative collects clean residues and remnants and gives these away as craft materials to schools, child care, centers, organizations, artists and students of art schools. The initiative is also an employment project for young people and adults who need to be supported extra. Creative, innovative, sustainable and socially.
