Reinforcement
The mould is manually covered with fibre and may also include other core material and inserts. The choices are infinite: fibres such as hemp, glass, carbon or aramid. Core materials including PUR and PIR foam or balsa; and inserts of wood, plastic or steel for simple attachments.
