| VRAAG | Develop a prototype for a sun-blinding façade element made from light, environmentally friendly material. |
| OPLOSSING | RAU Architects designed façade cladding, which also served as sun blinds, for the new addition to the Bisschoppelijk College building in Weert. The projecting elements of almost one and a half metres had to be made in a lightweight, red material that had a low environmental impact. NPSP made a prototype from natural fibre composite with integrated lighting as part of SenterNovem's TeMa subsidy design programme. |
